You don’t need a card-reader to arrange a payment to someone you have already paid online. You don't need a card-reader if you use our Mobile Banking app. You can make payments of up to £750 by using the account number and sort code of the person or company you want to pay.
If you're aged 16+ you can make up to 5 payments each working day subject to the £750 limit, or 20 payments over 4 working days. If you're aged 13-15 you can make payments up to £30 a day in the mobile app.
If you're aged 16+ you can also make payments of up to £250 through the Pay Your Contacts feature on our Mobile Banking app. If you're aged 13-15 you can make payments up to £30 a day through Pay Your Contacts.
