We keep costs low and transparent so you’ll know exactly what you’re paying for and when.
Platform fee
The maximum you’ll pay is 0.15%. That’s 15p for every £100 of your investments.
This covers the cost of admin and online access to your NatWest Invest account.
We take this payment at the end of every quarter (that’s March, June, September and December).
Fund fee
The maximum you’ll pay is 0.40%. That’s 40p for every £100 of your investments.
This covers the cost of managing your investment.
The fund fee is taken directly from the fund by the fund manager. It's made up of an annual management charge averaged out over the year and taken on a daily basis.
Choose how to pay the platform fee
You can pay your platform fee directly from your investment or you can pay from your NatWest bank account.
If you pay directly from your investment, this will impact the value of your investment.
We tier the platform fee
The platform fee varies depending on how much you invest.
- If you invest up to £1m, you’ll pay 0.15%.
- Anything above £1m up to £5m you pay 0.10%.
- Anything over £5m you pay our minimum platform fee of 0.05%.
We keep our fund fee low
Low fees means you keep more of what your investment makes.
- 0.30% is for the management of the fund.
- 0.10% or less is for the underlying investments’ fees. Our funds invest in a spread of different funds – also known as a fund of funds. Those funds have fees that we pay. If those fees are less than 0.10% then your fees will be lower. If those fees are higher than 0.10%, then you will not pay anything more.
Your investments are protected
The Personal Portfolio Funds available through NatWest Invest are based in the UK and so are covered by the UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), up to a maximum of £85,000 per person.
