Welcome to the Nectar credit card

The Nectar credit card is changing from Mastercard to Visa.

If you've got a Nectar credit card, we'll contact you over the next couple of months to let you know what this means for you.

How to collect Nectar points

You need to link your Nectar credit card to your Nectar account to collect and spend points. You can do this on our app, Online Banking, or over the phone.

Choose your Nectar credit card on the main screen, then select “Link your Nectar account”, and follow the prompts.

Please visit Nectar’s website at the link below to create an account. Then follow one of the steps above to link your new Nectar account to your credit card.​

Where to collect Nectar points

The amount of points you collect depends where you use your card. Points will show in the Nectar app within 28 days of your credit card statement date. You can see how many points you have , their monetary value, and where to spend points in the Nectar app.

How to collect 1 point for every £2 spent

Here's where to use your Nectar credit card to collect 1 point for every £2 you spend on it. 

  • Sainsbury's.
  • Argos.
  • Habitat.
  • Tu Clothing. 

How to collect 1 point for every £5 spent

Collect a point for each £5 you spend anywhere with your Nectar credit card. 

Transactions that don't count

Certain transactions won't collect any Nectar points. A few are:

  • ATM withdrawals.
  • Fees.
  • Gambling. 
  • Foreign currency transactions. 
  • Money orders and transfers. 
  • Argos eBay stores and Argos Clearance stores.

Where to spend Nectar points

Put your well-earned points to work at loads of places - spend them on a decadent latte, a grocery shop, or even a holiday. Visit nectar.com or open the Nectar app to see all partners. 

Moving to Visa

Your NatWest Nectar credit card is getting a makeover and changing from Mastercard to Visa. We'll send you a new Visa card, which you can use in exactly the same way as before. 

 

Don’t worry there’s no change to your PIN, credit limit, interest rate, promotional offer or Direct Debit. If you've already linked your Nectar account to your credit card the way you collect and spend Nectar points will stay the same. 

 

We'll contact you over the coming months to let you know your card is coming. While you wait for your new card, please continue making your credit card payments as usual.
