Our new Insurance Tracker could save you money, and so much more

Sign up with a few details about yourself and the address that your home insurance covers. We’ll also ask you to provide a password to keep your account secure. There are 3 options for adding a policy:

• 1.  Enter policy manually – you type in the policy details yourself
• 2. Forward policy email – we will extract the details we need from the email
• 3. Upload policy documents – your account will be populated automatically using your policy documents

We’ll then confirm your policy has been successfully added.

We can make the sign-up a little easier to complete by sharing some of your information with Uinsure. We’ll securely pass them your name, address, date of birth, email and contact number.  Uinsure will then drop them into  the sign up for Insurance Tracker, meaning you’ve got less to do.  You can find out how Uinsure use your data in their Privacy Notice.

Of course, if anything isn’t quite right or your details have changed, you can always edit them. Just remember to tell us too.

Alternatively, if you would like to enter your details yourself, just choose ‘I’ll fill my details in manually’.

We will compare your current policy against our panel of insurers to make sure you have the best cover in terms of price and included benefits for your property and needs. The information returned to you, via the tracker, will therefore be an accurate comparison of what is available from our panel at that time.

Your policy will be checked once when it is first uploaded to Insurance Tracking.

After that we will generate new quotes every 100 days and compare them against your existing policy and/or most recent quote. If the new quote is cheaper and/or offers better cover than your current policy or most recent quote, you will be notified.

We will notify you through your chosen notification method(s) to acknowledge any change made by yourself and/or when there is an update that is useful for you to be aware of.

This could include:

• Acknowledging when you inform us of a change or take an action in the app
• Urgent reminders, such as your policy expiry date coming up soon
• When we identify an opportunity to save you money or switch to an alternative policy
• When the market price has changed but your previous quote is still available
• Weather alerts when bad weather is forecast in your area.

Yes. Your notifications can be controlled within the ‘Notification Preferences’ that can be accessed by tapping the Account Icon (usually shown as your initials) in the top right of your dashboard.

Here you can choose how you receive notifications. These can be through:

• Email
• SMS
• In the Notification Centre within your app

You can also turn notifications off at any time by toggling the buttons to ‘off’ within the Notification Preferences menu.
