First, we’ll need you to complete a Return of Funds form to tell us where you’d like your money to be sent. You can download the Return of Funds form. It will need to be posted or emailed back to us using the details on the form.
Once we’ve checked that the form has been completed correctly, we’ll need to confirm that the request is coming from you using our security partner, Mitek.
Mitek is the simplest and quickest way to confirm your identity with no additional cost.
Once we’ve received your completed Return of Funds form, we’ll send you an email and/or text message with a link to Mitek. Just click on the link to start the process. If you haven’t received your link, please email us at returnfunds@natwest.com or call us on 0800 046 1631.
Mitek will guide you through the process of scanning your ID documents and you’ll be asked to take a “selfie” to confirm your identity.
Please note: Where more than one signature is required (e.g., joint account, entity etc.), each signatory will need to complete the Mitek process individually.

If you would prefer not to use Mitek, you can provide certified copies of your ID by post or email.
In addition to a completed Return of Funds form, you’ll also need to send us a certified copy of the relevant documents from the list below to help us confirm your identity.

Once we receive your complete paperwork and the appropriate identification, the process should take no longer than 28 days.
