Can I use someone else's card-reader, even one from another bank or building society?
Yes, if you have a NatWest card reader from us, you can use that, or most card readers from other banks.
Don't have a card reader? You can order one in Online Banking.
To order a new card reader:
- Access your Online Banking service at onlinebanking.natwest.com (opens in a new window)
- Select 'Security' from the menu In the 'Using a card reader' section
- Select 'Order a card reader' then follow the on screen instructions
Alternatively you may be eligible to use your biometrics on your mobile app.
