How can I pay my Credit Card from another UK bank account?
To transfer from your account with another bank to your NatWest credit card on the mobile app you will need to:
- Tap ‘Credit Card’ from the home screen
- Tap "Pay my card" where you will see the last statement balance / minimum payment / next payment due date and option to pay by Direct Debit
- Tap "Pay my card" at the bottom of the screen
- Tap "Account with another bank" at the bottom of the screen
- Select Full Statement Amount, Minimum payment, or Other amount and enter the amount of the transfer.
- Tap "Review payment"
- Review payment details and tap on 'Confirm'
- Select your bank within the list provided
- Tap "Continue" to be taken to your other bank App to confirm payment
- Review payment details
- Select other bank account to pay from
- Tap "Continue"
- If payment was successful, your balance should update after 15 minutes once you log back into the NatWest app.
This service is provided via Open banking and is available to most major UK banks. However, some are not yet signed up (As an example - HSBC and First Direct have not yet signed up for this service as at 1st November 2025).
The list of banks signing up for this service continues to grow. If your bank is not yet listed you can continue to make a payment from your account provider via mobile, online or telephone banking services
