What is unarranged overdraft interest?

Unarranged Overdraft interest will be charged if you've gone overdrawn without arranging it with us first. You will also be charged interest if you have gone over your agreed overdraft limit. We do not charge usage fees for our overdrafts.

Our interest charge varies depending on which current account you have.

Representative 39.49% EAR (variable)

An Unpaid Transaction Fee of £1.55 is charged for a transaction that we return unpaid. A transaction (e.g. a Direct Debit) will be returned if the payment cannot be met from funds in your account or any unused arranged overdraft facility and we decide in our discretion not to make the payment.

We won’t charge you more than £18.80 in a monthly charging period for an unarranged overdraft or any unpaid transaction.
