What is a guaranteed card payment fee?

If you guaranteed a cheque payment using your cheque guarantee card, we are obliged to make the payment on your behalf. If this means you exceed any agreed overdraft limit, you will be charged a guaranteed card payment fee.

Fee Amount - £15 for each transaction up to a maximum of £90 in any charging period.

Please note for future reference the 'Maintenance Charge', 'Paid Referral Fee' and 'Guaranteed Card Payment Fee' have been replaced with a single daily fee called the 'Unarranged Overdraft Fee'.
