When sending payments to the countries listed below—regardless of the currency—you must include a Purpose of Payment Code in the Payment reference. These codes are required by the central banks of the destination countries for regulatory reporting. Payments that do not include a valid code may be rejected by the receiving bank.

- Bahrain
- United Arab Emirates (UAE)
- Kuwait
- India
- Qatar
- China
- Jordan
- Malaysia
- Turkey - Required for payments exceeding 10m Turkish Lira only
