With our Reward bank account, you can get Rewards every month. The exact amount you earn depends on the number of Direct Debits you have, whether you log in to our app, and your spending at our partners.

You can start exchanging Rewards once you’ve earned £5 or more. It's possible to redeem Rewards as money back into current accounts, e-gift codes with our partners, or charity donations.

We accept the following forms of ID when opening a NatWest Reward current account.

Proof of ID:

• UK or foreign passport and visa.
• EU/EEA national identity card.
• UK/EU/EEA driving licence.

Proof of address:

• Utility bill (for example, gas, electric or water).
• Bank statement.
• Council tax bill.
• Driving licence.

Our packaged bank accounts give you travel insurance as well as other lifestyle and insurance benefits. They’re called the Reward Silver, Reward Platinum and Reward Black accounts.

These types of bank accounts could be right for you. But the right Reward bank accounts won't be the same for everyone. It’s always worth researching carefully before you apply, as the level of cover is different depending on which account you choose.

Yes, it’s possible to have one NatWest Reward account solely in your name, and one as a joint account too. But you can’t have more than two of our current accounts with Rewards.

You should receive your debit card 3-5 working days after your Reward bank account is open.

Download the NatWest app to manage your money, make payments and regularly check your balance.

If you’re new to NatWest, we’ll ask for information like your:

• full name
• home address
• contact details
• nationality
• tax residency status (which country you pay tax in).

If you already bank with NatWest, you can use the mobile app to start an application. We’ll pre-fill some of your details in the form to make it speedier.

If you’re eligible for an overdraft on your Reward account, we’ll ask about your finances and monthly take-home pay.

Have these details ready to speed up the application process.

To avoid losing your MyRewards balance, we recommend that you exchange any redeemable balance before closing your last MyRewards linked account(s).

To see your exchange options:

• Access the MyRewards section of our mobile app, then tap ‘Exchange Rewards’.
• Or access Online Banking, then click on the MyRewards section from the list of your accounts.

If you decide to close your last account(s) linked to MyRewards, you will have up to 90 days to redeem the MyRewards balance.

New customer? We have to confirm your identity to make sure we’re opening a Reward account for the right person. We do this through our trusted online identification and security partner, Mitek.

Mitek can quickly and safely verify people from all over the world using digital footprints, ID document authentication and facial biometrics. It’s not only safer, but also speeds up the application process. And that means Reward current accounts can be opened faster.

This way, we can check you are you, while keeping your details completely safe and secure.

Banking My Way is a free service that allows you to record information about the support or adjustments you need to make banking easier.

When you let us know about any additional support you may need, we’ll ensure our colleagues are made aware. The information will be shared on our internal systems, meaning you won’t need to repeat your requirements every time you speak to us.

Once your account with Rewards is open, you can record this through Online Banking. Or with our colleagues in branch or over the phone.
