What are push notifications?

Push notifications are alerts created by an application on your mobile device, notifying you of a new message or update.

We send Push notifications to all the devices you have the NatWest application on, with the settings turned on. If you use more than one device, you will need to check that push notifications are turned on to the devices you wish to receive these on.

We can send you a push notification for activity made from your account, they are a great way to keep on top of your spending, check you’ve been charged the right amount and quickly spot anything suspicious on your account. As this is coming from a verified app, it is a secure way of receiving messages.

IOS: Go to your settings > Click on notifications > Scroll until you find the NatWest App and click this > Select Allow Notifications

Android: Go to your settings > Click on notifications > Scroll until you find the NatWest App and click this > Select Allow Notifications

IOS: Go to your settings > Click on notifications > Scroll until you find the NatWest App and click this > Select Disallow Notifications

Android: Go to your settings > Click on notifications > Scroll until you find the NatWest App and click this > Select Disallow Notifications

Note: If you disallow notifications, we won’t be able to send you notifications on important activity such as debit and credit card transactions. So would we encourage you to keep the notifications allowed.

You can pick whether certain activities are sent to you through Push. You can do this by logging into online banking, selecting alerts and choosing the activity you wish to be sent a push notification for.
