Banking My Way is a free service that allows you to record any additional support or adjustments you may need to make your banking easier. The information will be shared on our internal systems, which means you won’t need to repeat it every time you interact with us.

The Banking My Way service is available to customers aged 16 or over in the mobile app or Online Banking. For customers under 16, parental consent is required and information must be recorded in branch or over the phone.

In your app you can make a one-off overpayment, set up a regular overpayment or a combination of both. Overpayments are a great way to reduce your balance and the amount of interest you’ll pay. 

If you’re on a fixed or tracker rate product, you’ll have an annual overpayment allowance of 20% before an Early Repayment Charge (ERC) will apply.

When your current rate comes to an end, your mortgage will move to our Standard Variable Rate (SVR) unless you choose a new deal (also known as 'switching your deal').

We’ll contact you before your deal ends to explain your options. 

If you download the NatWest app, you'll be able to find out more about your mortgage and you'll be notified before your deal ends.

We've gone paperless

You’ll get your Mortgage Annual Statements and other mail in your app. We’ll let you know when you’ve got a new item of mail to view.

To view your documents tap the ‘Mailbox’ option in the main menu in your app.

Prefer paper? You can change your preferences anytime in your app.
