1. Before you download the app, check you have everything you'll need...

Are you registered for Online Banking?
You will need to be registered in order to register for the mobile app (Online Banking available to customers aged 11+ with a NatWest account).
Do you know your online customer number, PIN & password
Your customer number is a 10-digit number given to you upon completing online registration and is made up of your date of birth followed by 4 digits with your date of birth. For example, DDMMYYxxxx.
Do we have your latest mobile number?
We will need to send you a one time passcode to complete the app registration

Do you have a NatWest card reader?
If you have a card reader, you can update your details via Online Banking. If you only have a mortgage with us, there is a number you can call to get your mobile number updated.

Update your contact information

Once you are logged in to Online Banking, head to 'Your Details' and follow the instructions​.

Once your mobile is updated, you are ready to download and register for the app!

In order to update your mobile number you will need to speak to our mortgage team.

Once your mobile is updated, you are ready to download and use the app!

Confirm Online Banking information

If you attempt to re-register for Online Banking we will reconfirm your existing customer number and also allow you to re-set your security details if needed. It only takes a few minutes.

If you do not know your online pin and password, we can text you an activation code to reset this. If we do not have your up to date mobile number, we can post this activation code to you.

How can I register?

To register for Online Banking, you will just need your mortgage account number (sort code will pre-populate for mortgage only customers).

Follow the link and once registered with your login details and we have your up to date mobile number, you are ready to download and start using the app

2. Download the app

Need help downloading the NatWest app? Just follow the two simple steps below. 

  1. On your mobile or tablet, open the camera and point your device at the QR code
  2. A link will pop up, tap this, and you’ll be taken straight to download the app

3. Register for the app

Follow the instructions below to register for the app.

  1. 01

    Open the NatWest app, tap 'I already have an account'. Read the next screen and select 'next'

  2. 02

    Read and when ready accept the Mobile Banking Terms

  3. 03

    Enter the characters from your Online Banking PIN and Password

  4. 04

    We will then confirm your mobile phone number. In most cases this will happen automatically or by simply entering the activation code that we text to you.

  5. 05

    Finally, set up a passcode and select your login preference then complete the customise your app screens. You can now begin using the NatWest app. 

4. Go to Manage my Mortgage

Now you are logged in, to access our mortgage services just select your mortgage account and then click 'Manage my Mortgage'.

You're all done! Let's take a look!

Your mortgage summary page will show you details such as:

Your mortgage balance

Your monthly repayment

Your last valuation

Tell you whether you are currently eligible to switch your deal

Once logged in, tap the profile icon to view some of the additional features of the banking app.

You can login securely to your app using fingerprint or facial ID. Available on selected devices.
