:
You can change your business name or address anytime, if you’re a:
- sole trader
- limited company
- Plc
- Partnership or
- LLP
There are a few ways to do this, depending on how you access your account.
For any other business type, you will need to skip to the bottom of this article.
If you use Online Banking:
To change your business name or address, log in to Online Banking. From there, click on 'Chat to Cora’ on the bottom right. This will open a chat where you can type ‘change my business name’ or ‘change my business address’ and Cora , our virtual assistant, will take the details and process your request.
If you use the NatWest Mobile Banking app:
You will need to be registered for Biometric approval to make changes in the app. If you haven’t done this yet, you can set this up during the process below.
To update your business address, tap the profile icon on the top right, then 'manage business details'. Next to your current business address there's an option to edit, then you can enter your new postcode and either select your address or enter it manually. You can also edit the address your statements are sent to by tapping on the ‘Edit addresses’ button at the bottom of the screen.
You can also change your business name or address through Cora, our digital assistant. On the home screen tap 'Help' then ‘Chat to Cora' and type ‘change my business name’ or ‘change my business address’. She’ll take the details and process your request.
If you don’t have the NatWest Mobile Banking App and would like to start using it, you can download it free from any app store and it will take you through the set-up process when you first open it.
If you don’t use either:
If you don’t have access to Online Banking or the app, you can register and set up Online Banking easily. This will allow you to access your account balances, view transactions and make payments to staff and suppliers quickly and securely. Our Digital Lessons can help you get started and build the skills you need.
Limited companies can update their business name using the change your details form.
This form does not change your personal address. Learn how to do this here.
For any other business type:
You’ll need to send us a request by post, including the following details:
- Written authorisation from the signatories on the account approving the name change (a one-to-sign account would require one signature, two-to-sign would require two signatories)

- Reason for the change, and the date that you want us to make the change on
The address to send to is:
