Payit from NatWest uses Open Banking technology to enable real-time data sharing and secure, instant payments* —without the need for bank or card details. By allowing banks to communicate directly, Payit removes inefficiencies, enhances security, and delivers a seamless experience for both you and your customers.
Payit seamlessly fits into your systems – API, plug-in or NatWest Bankline. Or for smaller businesses who bank with NatWest or Royal Bank of Scotland, you can request or send a payment using Payit from within your banking app.
*In the majority of cases, payment will be near-instantaneous thanks to the Faster Payments Service. However, banks may retain certain payments for additional checks. If approved, payments are guaranteed to arrive within 2 hours.
*Available to mobile customers. Payit uses Faster Payments to clear and settle the payment, so funds will be received immediately but guaranteed within 2 hours. Payit & Reusable Link/QR Code requests can be made by NatWest and Royal Bank of Scotland Business Current Account (excluding Mettle) and business Foundation Account holders only.
