What’s new in Bankline? Latest features and tips

Welcome to the latest edition of our ‘What’s New?’ blog series! This series will introduce you to all the latest features, provide further support and some tips to help you get the most out of Bankline.

Our New Security Settings Page

We’ve created a new dedicated Bankline security page where you can learn about using different security and payment settings within Bankline that may help protect your organisation.

 

What do I need to do? 

Take the time to complete a review of your profile to ensure it is up to date with settings that work for your organisation. To learn more about keeping your business secure visit our security hub.

You Can Now Manage Paperless Preferences For Third Party Accounts In Bankline

We’ve recently updated the ‘Manage paperless preferences’ feature in new Bankline to allow profiles with 'third-party' accounts to manage paperless preferences for those accounts. Plus, third-party accounts in Bankline will no longer be blocked for paperless preferences amendments. 

 

What privileges will I need for this?

You’ll need the ‘Manage paperless preference’ privilege to amend your paperless preferences. Paperless preferences cannot be amended for currency accounts, external accounts or accounts that currently have documentation suppressed. 

How does this benefit me?

  • Time saving – you’ll be able to select which accounts you don’t want to receive paper documents for and have email reminders sent to you when a new document is available to download.
  • Efficiency – you'll be able to keep a digital copy of a document for your records instead of having a paper copy sent to you

Onboarding Hub and Welcome Emails

Are you a newly onboarded Bankline customer? If so, you should check out our new on-boarding hub. 

 

What is the onboarding hub? 

The hub is accessible to all Bankline users and what’s even better is that it is tailored specifically to you! The hub has bite sized steps that you can follow in order, or if you’re an admin, you can jump between links in a workbook to do some preparation while waiting for your log in equipment. The hub also contains links to further support and guidance. 

 

It will be promoted in our new welcome emails which have been simplified to make the logging in process as easy as possible for you.  

How does this benefit me?

  • Offers step by step guidance to enable a self-serve approach
  • Provides access to a workbook allowing administrators to gather information needed to set up Bankline
