Bankline Mobile is available to NatWest business current account customers on selected iOS and Android devices with a UK or international mobile number in selected countries. Fees may apply.
Easy to use – take a picture of the front and back of the cheque within the app
Convenient – you choose which account you want to deposit your cheque into. You can deposit cheques up to the value of £5k with a daily limit of £15k per Customer ID
Fast – cheques take 2 business days to clear if received before 6pm
No additional costs – usual cheque tariffs will apply for each cheque deposited. And you won’t be charged a credit fee
Secure – we treat it as securely as a cheque deposited in branch
Log in to the Bankline Mobile app
Select the ‘Pay’ tab
Select ‘Deposit a cheque’
Select the account you want to pay the cheque into
Enter the cheque amount
Allow access to your camera to take a picture of your cheque
Follow the steps on-screen to take a photo of both the front and back of the cheque (even if the back is blank) against a dark background
On the summary screen, review the details to check they’ve been captured correctly and select ‘Deposit now’ if they have.
If you submit a cheque on a bank holiday, we won’t process it until the next business day. So if Monday is a bank holiday and you submit your cheque, you won't see the money available until Wednesday.
