Why micromobility?

Micromobility refers to small lightweight efficient vehicles such as e-scooters and cargo bikes, which can be used to make short distance journeys.

In recent years, businesses around the UK have been unveiling new fleets of small, light and zero emission powered vehicles to move goods and people. Sitting alongside existing electric vehicle fleets, lower carbon vehicles such as e-cargo bikes are taking to the streets for logistics and servicing businesses committed to more sustainable deliveries.

At Micromobility UK 2023, in partnership with WMG High Value Manufacturing Catapult, University of Warwick, we were excited to see and hear all about the latest insight and innovations in the micromobility sector.

Here’s a taste of what we heard about why low carbon transport matters.
