Mastering Your Money with NatWest Business

Join Holly Tucker MBE and the bank for Mastering Your Money With NatWest Business and learn how to tackle all of your business ailments.

Each session, Holly will be inviting small businesses to share their own lessons alongside experts who will provide actionable advice. “I want to help people build their business by bringing them all the tools, tips and advice based on what I’ve learnt from my 20 years of experience building Notonthehighstreet, Holly & Co and from watching thousands upon thousands of businesses starting up,” says Tucker.

“It’s incredibly important to me to make starting and running a small business accessible to all by jargon busting and answering those ‘unGoogleable’ questions which inevitably crop up throughout any business journey. I am thrilled that NatWest will be supporting 12 Mastering Your Money specials throughout the year – tackling everything from creating targets, to building a sustainable business and understanding how to harness the right funding to grow your business.”

Founder at Notonthehighstreet and Holly & Co

The first of 12 episodes produced in partnership with NatWest will look at overcoming imposter syndrome, whether in relation to your finances, your mindset or your business goals. Holly will be joined by expert guest Anna Mathur, a psychotherapist, author and speaker who will share tangible tips and advice on how to tackle, and overcome, imposter syndrome.

She will also be joined by Geeta Salhan, co-founder of Green Sisters. Geeta and her sister Reena run their award-winning Indian food business from their West Midlands kitchen. The team has recently featured in NatWest and Getty Images’ Female Focus: #BeTheRoleModel campaign, which aims to tackle stereotypes of female founders and champion a more realistic visual representation of female business leaders.

“As entrepreneurs, we dream of making a positive difference,” says Geeta Salhan. “But fear of failure is a very real phenomenon, and we all have that little voice in our head which questions our abilities – whether we are capable of fulfilling our business dream and achieving the success it deserves. This imposter syndrome can inhibit you from making vital decisions that may have benefited your businesses growth, especially in the early stages, where additional finance can supercharge your business’s success.

“In this session we wanted to share our experience of why mindset matters, and share our strategies for quietening that inner voice, so you truly can unlock your businesses potential and growth.”

Yvonne Greeves, director of women in business at the bank, says: “Small businesses have demonstrated tremendous resilience and innovation throughout the pandemic, but we know that having access to continued support is so important to help businesses both scale, and succeed. That’s why we’re so excited to partner with Holly on special episodes of the Mastering Your Money With NatWest Business; by honestly discussing key business issues, such as financial planning and finding investment, we hope that businesses will come away with the right tools and information to push forward and thrive in 2021 and beyond.”
