NatWest and the Telegraph launch the 100 Female Entrepreneurs to Watch list

The Telegraph and NatWest 100 Female Entrepreneurs to Watch list shines a light on women running thriving businesses in the face of current economic challenges.

The new initiative, sponsored by NatWest and The Telegraph was launched on 21 November, with the purpose of highlighting 100 of the most exciting and high potential female-owned businesses in the UK.

NatWest Group CEO Alison Rose said: ““Our mission is to highlight some of the most exciting up-and-coming female founders in the UK right now, and to help them with mentorship, workshops and networking opportunities.

“We were bowled over by the brilliant, diverse and inspiring founders who entered. Judging really felt like an impossible task!”

She added: “It is now more important than ever to make sure we are providing this new generation of entrepreneurs with the resources, knowledge and support to enable their businesses to flourish.”

The 100 female-run businesses were selected from 700 entries by a panel which also included Telegraph executive lifestyle editor Caroline Barrett-Haigh, Debbie Wosskow OBE, co-founder of AllBright, and Emma Davies, joint CEO of Octopus Ventures.

Ten highly commended entrepreneurs will benefit from a package of guidance, including expert business advice, mentorship and a host of additional benefits.

Alison added: “It’s never been more important to celebrate the women building the UK’s most exciting enterprises and redefining success.”
