Talking about the frustrations that led her to first start the business, the ups and downs of her entrepreneurial journey and her top tips for anyone building a business.

Why did you first start Innovating Minds?

I first started Innovating Minds on leap year day in 2016 while I was working in forensic mental health services. Frustrations in my existing career had led me to create a model that lets children and adults access expert preventative help more quickly.

Why did you first start Innovating Minds?

Our team of Clinical Psychologists delivers therapy, training and consultation to help people access education, training and employment. We work from an early intervention approach within educational and community settings to open up access to therapy and create mentally healthy environments that have a sustainable impact.

Good mental health is the foundation to young people achieving their aspirations.

We support children's mental health by working within schools. This allows staff and students to access therapy, and by working with the leadership team we create a whole school approach to mental health.
