Sustainability Planner

You can access Sustainability Planner either through Bankline or through an online sign-up journey, depending on how your business is onboarded.

If you use Bankline, a Bankline Admin will need to complete the initial setup. Once connected, additional users can be invited to use the tool.

Yes. You can invite multiple people from your business to use Sustainability Planner.

Different access levels are available, so colleagues can contribute to the areas most relevant to them.

No. You can start with the information you already have and return later to complete the rest.

You’ll be guided through entering information about how your business operates, such as:

• energy use
• travel and transport
• purchased goods and services
• waste and operations

You’ll also provide some basic business details (such as sector and size) to help tailor your experience and outputs.

You can connect some accounting software packages to help bring relevant data into the planner and reduce manual input in selected areas.

This currently supports selected areas, so you may still need to add some information manually. You can review and adjust any imported data to make sure it reflects your business accurately.

Yes. Once you’ve completed the relevant sections, you can generate and download reports from Sustainability Planner.

These are designed to support your understanding of your business and your internal planning.

Yes. If you have more than one business or legal entity, you can set up and manage multiple organisations within the platform and switch between them.

Sustainability Planner is designed to help you build an understanding of your business’ environmental impact, operational considerations and identify potential cost saving opportunities.

The outputs include indicative estimates based on the information you provide and suggested actions. They are for general information purposes and to support internal decision-making only. You should not rely solely on the information provided to you through Sustainability Planner and you should seek independent professional advice as appropriate.
