What's included?

• Worldwide travel insurance that covers you and your family for 90 days per trip (including 31 days for winter sports).
• Family cover includes you, your partner and dependent children under 18 (or under 23 if in full time education) at the start of the journey. Children must be living at the home address (or with the other parent), and be neither married nor in a civil partnership.

If you or your joint account holder are aged 70 or over, you’ll need to get in touch with us each year to purchase an age extension upgrade. There will then be a £100 annual premium per person aged 70 or over.

Pre-existing medical conditions aren't automatically covered. You can check online if this travel insurance covers new or existing medical conditions. An extra fee may apply or some conditions might not be covered.

Personal mobile insurance covers phones used by you, your partner and your children under 18 who live at home with you or under 23 if they’re in full-time education. Policy underwritten by Aviva Insurance Limited.

You’re covered for theft, loss, accidental damage or breakdown (once your manufacturer’s warranty has expired). You can make 4 approved claims in any 12-month period. 

Cover applies to phones with an original purchase price of £2,500 or less (including VAT). Next day replacements for lost or stolen phones when claims are completed by 8pm.

If your phone is damaged or breaks down, get a same day repair at over 100 locations. Or, depending on where you are, a manufacturer-approved mobile repair technician will come to you at home, work or anywhere in between.

There is a £50 excess for repair claims and a £100 excess for replacement claims.

The AA provide our UK & European breakdown cover and includes getting you to a destination of your choice if they can't get your vehicle going again.

You’re covered as a driver or passenger in any privately registered vehicle you travel in throughout the UK. 

Anyone driving or travelling in your vehicle is covered too.

You’re also covered in Europe for trips that start and end in the UK (see your terms for a full list of qualifying countries).

Types of breakdown cover included with our bank accounts

• Roadside Assistance - anywhere in the UK.
• At Home - get help when your vehicle won't start at home.
• National Recovery - if the AA can't get your vehicle going, they'll take you and your vehicle to a destination of your choice.
• Onward Travel - if your vehicle can't be fixed at the roadside, the AA can help you complete your journey. This may be by arranging a replacement vehicle, booking you a night's accommodation or funding alternative transport costs (i.e. rail fares) where appropriate.
• Accident Assist - a 24/7 accident claims service. The AA will handle your insurance claim - at no additional cost - no matter which company insures you.

Keep in mind, if you choose to bank your Rewards it will take 5 working days to clear.

An arranged overdraft allows you to borrow more money than you have in your account, up to an agreed limit. It is intended for short-term use only and will cost you money in interest to use it.

It is a form of debt and is repayable on demand. Always make sure you have enough money in your current account, or a suitable Arranged Overdraft limit in place before any payments are due to come out of your account.

How do overdrafts work?

There are two different types of overdraft:

An arranged overdraft, which allows you to go overdrawn up to an agreed limit. This is the type of overdraft you could apply for with this account. During your application for an arranged overdraft, we'll run a full credit check to determine how much we can offer you.

An unarranged overdraft. This is when you spend more money than you have in your current account without already having an arranged overdraft, or when you exceed your current arranged overdraft limit.

We charge interest on both types of overdraft. Going in to an unarranged overdraft limit can lead to payments being rejected.
