Be the face of simpler banking

Getting set up for face biometrics is simple

It means you can do a lot of your day-to-day banking by simply looking at your phone. You no longer need to remember your log-in details while rummaging for your card reader.

The list of things you can do with face biometrics includes making a payment to someone new, paying someone overseas and changing your personal details like your home address – and all faster and more conveniently than using traditional security measures.

It'll only take a couple of minutes to register your face

All you need is the NatWest mobile app plus a forward-facing camera.

 

  1. Open the app and choose biometric approval from the settings menu, then tap Register now
  2. Next, take your selfie
  3. Once we've got this, you're all set up
  4. If you don't have notifications on, we'll ask you to turn them on. This will help when you get an approval request. When we ask you to approve something later, you just look at the camera and blink to confirm it's you.

The NatWest app is available to personal and business banking customers using compatible iOS and Android devices and a UK or international mobile number in specific countries.

Biometric approval is available to eligible mobile app customers.
