Material economic terms
 

FX and Currency Derivatives Current Templates

The EMTA Template Terms for Non-Deliverable FX Forward Transactions, Non-Deliverable Currency Option Transactions and Non-Deliverable Cross Currency Transactions for various currency pairs are set forth below. These Template Terms, in each case, are the terms currently recommended by EMTA for forwards, options and cross currency transactions for each such currency pair. Please note that the Template Terms are not intended to be a substitute for a confirmation, but are intended to reflect market consensus on material non-trade terms that may be incorporated into a trade confirmation, unless otherwise agreed by the parties. Market participants are welcome to incorporate the Template Terms for any currency pair into their trade confirmations or may agree on different terms.

In addition, Annex A to the 1998 FX and Currency Option Definitions prepared by EMTA, Inc., ISDA, Inc and The Foreign Exchange Committee, and the Compendium thereto, are set forth below. Annex A represents the full and official set of rate source and other definitions. The Compendium to Annex has been prepared solely for the convenience of the market and is updated from time to time to include recent amendments to Annex A. Annex A and the official publications by EMTA, ISDA and the FXC of any amendments remain the definitive publications for these various terms. Annex A and the Compendium thereto may also be found on the websites of the co-sponsors, ISDA, Inc. and the Foreign Exchange Committee.

CFTC IM Segregation Right Notice Form of CFTC IM Segregation Right Notice

Published by ISDA to assist market participants in implementing CFTC Regulation 23.701’s requirements for swap dealers and major swap participants to notify counterparties of their right to require segregation of margin (other than variation margin) for uncleared swap transactions.

NatWest Markets Plc, as a swap dealer, avails itself of the relief provided in CFTC No-Action Letter 25-09 with respect to providing counterparties with certain disclosures, including a pre-trade mid-market mark ("Mid").  Any instance where front office personnel do provide a Mid are for informational, and not regulatory, purposes only. 

If, prior to execution, a counterparty requests a Mid of a swap transaction, NatWest Markets Plc may provide one in advance of the relevant swap transaction. The Mid provided for any such swap transaction must exclude amounts for profit, credit reserve, hedging, funding, liquidity, and any other costs or adjustments.  A Mid may be delivered to the counterparty either across electronic platforms or via direct communications with the counterparty, and the method of delivery will determine the methodology used to determine the Mid.
