CMDportal recognises NatWest with three awards

NatWest has been named “Best FIG MTN Private Placement Dealer” [1][2], “Best Corporate Private Placement Dealer” and “Most Improved Money Market Dealer” in the 2023 CMDportal Awards[3].

The market data network, which aggregates, validates and reconciles bond and money market data, bases its prestigious annual awards on market polls, in-depth questionnaires, and other market data over the past 12 months.

“Best FIG MTN Private Placement Dealer” and “Best Corporate Private Placement Dealer”

The awards for “Best FIG MTN Private Placement Dealer” and “Best Corporate Private Placement Dealer” are given to institutions that are particularly active and successful in the international and local markets for FIG and corporate borrowers.

Marc Falconer, Head of MTN Syndicate, commented: “We are very pleased to be recognised by CMD and industry participants for our commitment to client service across the Financial and Corporate sector.  This has been made possible by teamwork within NatWest, our deep relationships with issuers and investors and a well-connected global MTN and CP[4] team.”

“Most Improved Money Market Dealer”

The third award, “Most Improved Money Market Dealer”, is given to the institution that has most improved in the local and or foreign segment of the Commercial Paper and Certificate of Deposit Money Markets, providing a full service to all types of issuers and investors.

The Most Improved Money Market Dealer recognises our increased presence across Europe, that we’re one of very few banks with ECP[5] trading capacity post-Brexit in London and the EU, and that we have a sharp focus on client requirements.

Andrew Brown, MTN & CP Syndicate, said:

“I’m delighted that we’ve again been recognised for our coordinated approach within NatWest and across the regions which enables us to deliver the very best service to issuers and investors. It’s great to see the efforts of all the teams involved being recognised by the market and we’re delighted to be named Most Improved Money Market Dealer by CMDportal.”
