ESG Macro Strategist, Economics and Markets Strategy

Shubha leads the Economics and Markets Strategy, India team. She also serves as ESG Macro Strategist, where she does deep dives into various market relevant climate and ESG themes, producing insightful content and publications for our internal and external clients.

Shubha joined the bank in 2018, to build and lead our Strategy team in India. Since mid-2022, she stepped into the role of ESG Macro Strategist, wherein she closely tracks ESG and climate-related market events. Prior to joining the bank, Shubha had more than 10 years’ experience in financial services, a large part of which was spent tracking global financial markets.

Shubha is an Engineering graduate, with Masters in Business Administration from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India; and holds the certification in ESG investing from CFA Institute, US.
