What you need
Almost any computer system can be used to collect direct debit payments. We can also advise you on the availability of software supplier(s) most appropriate to your organisation's needs.
Sponsorship
Organisations joining the Direct Debiting scheme must satisfy stringent legal, financial and administrative requirements and an authorised sponsor such as NatWest must support their application.
Indemnity
Each organisation participating in the scheme is required to sign a standard indemnity.
Direct Debit Guarantee
Customers are protected by the terms of the guarantee that all organisations collecting payments must issue to their payers on behalf of the banks and building societies who allow direct debit collections against their customer accounts.
