A range of services for managing your cash and cheque receipts through our branch network, or via a carrier service.

Branch Services

Business Quick Deposit

  • Cash is placed into a secure Business Quick Deposit envelope and deposited at our branch counters or in the Quick Deposit box in the banking hall
  • Removes time spent queuing and waiting for deposit amount to be counted
  • Same day value is given for any cash deposited before daily close of business.

Night Safe

  • Deposit your cash and cheques in a secure container and place in our Night Safe at a time convenient for you, with contents checked and processed the next business day
  • Storage wallets and keys are provided, and the facility is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Reduces the risk of keeping cash on your business premises overnight

Carrier Services

Direct Cash

  • Cash is collected from your premises by a security carrier and deposited directly at one of the bank's regional Cash Centres
  • Improved staff security and time management for you, with the added convenience of secure collections from your premises
  • Requires a minimum of £1500 in notes and/or a maximum of £150 in coin per deposit

Consolidated Cash

  • Cash is collected and processed by a security carrier prior to delivery to one of our Cash Centres
  • All the benefits listed above, plus the ability to have many smaller deposits combined into bulk volumes, providing you with access to faster cash processing
  • Provides a secure and convenient way to pay in amounts of less than £1500 in notes and/or a minimum of £150 in coin

Small volumes of cheque receipts can be deposited at your nearest branch, or can be included with any carrier pick up of cash for onward transmission to our nearest Voucher Processing Centre. Finally, for larger volumes of cheques (+20,000 pa) we can arrange for a special courier collection for direct delivery to the nearest VPC using our Cheques Direct service.
