Mobile top-ups
- Top up your family’s pay-as-you-go mobiles
- Add up to five different mobile phones
- Works with all the major UK mobile networks, you will not be able to top up phones on the 3 network.
Top up payments will be taken from the account linked to your debit card used during registration.
Costs and charges for mobile banking
NatWest will not charge you for any mobile banking services, however, your mobile network provider may charge depending on your tariff.

Mobile phone top up charges
Mobile phone top ups will be debited directly from your account linked to your debit card during registration and will be shown on your current account statement (service currently not available for customers on the 3 network).
Eligibility
To use our iPad app you need to
- Be a NatWest customer who is registered for Online Banking. Visit our Online Banking pages to register
- Have a NatWest personal account with a debit card
- Be over age 11 and have a mainland UK mobile number starting 07
If you already have mobile banking for iPhone you can take advantage of mobile banking on both devices.
If you have mobile banking on another handset please register using a different phone number to avoid losing service of the application on your handset.

Have mobile banking for Blackberry?
If used your BlackBerry mobile number to register your iPad or iPod Touch you will lose service on these devices after registering your BlackBerry.
To regain service on your iPad or iPod Touch you will need to re-register using a different mobile phone number.
To register
Registering your NatWest iPad app is easy and only takes a few minutes:
- Download the new app from the App Store from your iPad
- Enter your mobile number and verify your handset
- Accept the Terms and Conditions
- Provide some personal information — including your online banking log in details, debit card number, card security number and postcode
Once you register we’ll verify your details and you should be able to start using your new app within 24 hours.
If you already have mobile banking for iPhone you can take advantage of mobile banking on both devices.

Have mobile banking for Blackberry?

How to cancel the service
You can cancel the service at any time by deleting the application from your iPad.
