Online banking security promise
We promise to help protect you online
Our priority is making your online banking experience as safe and secure as possible.
That’s why we have introduced our online banking security promise. This is our commitment to you in the event of fraud and gives clear guidance on what you need to do to protect yourself.
Our online banking security promise
If you become a victim of fraud when banking with us online, we promise to refund any money taken from your account in full provided:
- You do not give your online banking security details to anyone else, including your Customer Number, PIN or Password
- You do not log in to online banking using a Card-Reader device
- You follow security requirements in our Online Banking Terms and Conditions
Additional guidance to protect yourself online:
- Ensure you keep your computer security products (e.g. antivirus and firewall software) up-to-date and run regular security scans. Download free Rapport security software today.
- Use reasonable care when using our online banking service e.g. logging off at the end of each session, and do not leave your computer unattended when you’re logged on
- Do not use an account aggregation service (a service provided by another company that allows you to view all your bank details on a single website)
- Inform us as soon as possible of any potential security breach. Report suspected online fraud now.
