Bank accounts for International students
We offer free basic banking or a Select Silver account which gives you European travel insurance, mobile phone insurance and more for just £8 a month (Monthly fee increasing to £10 from 17th Feb 2013).
You can only apply for these accounts in branch. Please find your most convenient branch using our branch finder
To make sure you can open an account you will need to bring in supporting documents (74KB, PDF): one form of identification and one address verification. To confirm your address we will accept a letter of introduction (14KB, PDF) from a recognised UK university/college.
