NatWest Increases Variable Mortgage Rate
(17 November 2003)

NatWest Mortgage Services is increasing its Standard Variable Mortgage Rate by 0.25 per cent to 5.84 per cent. The rate change is effective from Monday, 1 December 2003 for new and existing customers.

The interest rates on the NatWest One current account mortgage are also increasing by 0.25 per cent to between 4.85 per cent and 5.45 per cent with immediate effect.

The interest rate charged on NatWest's Flexible Choice mortgage product will also be increased to 4.99 per cent on 1 December 2003.
