Mortgage Document for Conveyancers
Have you got the right website?
Welcome to NatWest's mortgage documentation website for Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers (in England & Wales) and Independent Qualified Conveyancers (in Scotland). From this site, you will be able to access and print off all the forms that may be required in connection with the mortgage transaction in which you have been instructed to act for the Bank.
Before you start, please ensure this is the correct mortgage documentation website for the work you’ve been instructed to do. This website contains the mortgage documentation required for NatWest mortgages provided by National Westminster Bank Plc (the 'Bank'). This documentation is intended solely for the use of Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers (in England & Wales) and Independent Qualified Conveyancers (in Scotland) who have been instructed to act for the Bank in a residential mortgage transaction by the Mortgage Centre and who have been directed to use the forms on this site.
You must NOT use the documents on this website for conveyancing in relation to:
- NatWest commercial transactions
- NatWest Offset mortgages
- NatWest One account mortgages (a current account mortgage with The Royal Bank of Scotland plc)
- NatWest Lifetime mortgages
- Non-NatWest branded mortgages
Please check your instruction letter if you are unsure if this is the correct site for you. You must not use this site unless specifically instructed to do so.
Simply click on the geographical jurisdiction in which the property over which the mortgage to be taken is located and follow the on-screen instructions. Should you require any help using this site, please consult the user guide.
Below you will find links to all of the documents that you will require in order to progress a standard mortgage transaction. There are also some additional documents which will only be required in certain circumstances, for certain transactions. You should refer to our instructions to be found in Parts 1 & 2 of the UK Finance Mortgage Lenders' Handbook for conveyancers, the offer document, and the letter summarising those instructions for definitive guidance on what forms to use.
All new NatWest mortgages must be completed in the name of National Westminster Bank Plc (NWB) rather than National Westminster Home Loans Ltd (NWHL).
Please note that these forms are provided only for you to complete the appropriate transaction specific information online and to subsequently print off on a case by case basis. In order that the Bank can ensure that you are using the most up to date version in each transaction in which you are instructed, you are NOT permitted to save these documents to your own systems and unauthorised alterations are forbidden.
