Our £150 Switch & Stay offer

Switch to us to get our offer of £100, and an extra £50 if you stay.

How the offer works

Apply to Switch

Simply request to switch an account from elsewhere into your Select, Reward or Premier current account with us by 5pm on the 2nd of December 2021.

For the initial £100

Pay in at least £1,500 in total and log in to our mobile app or Online Banking by 13th January 2022. Your first £100 will be paid into your NatWest account by 11th February 2022.

For an extra £50

Once qualified for the £100 payment, make 10 eligible debit and/or credit transactions (excluding interest, fees and charges) on your account every calendar month between January & September 2022. After that we’ll give you the £50 by 30th November 2022.

How does the Switch process work?

Day 1 & 2

The Current Account Switch Service will contact your old bank and they confirm if the switch can go ahead

Day 3

Your new account will then be set up and your payments, like your salary and bill payments will be moved across.

Day 6 & 7

We talk to your old bank about transferring your balance over. On Day 7 your balance will then be transferred and your old account will be closed. And that's your switch complete!

Switching with third party permissions

If you have given permissions to Third Party Providers to make payments on your behalf, or to access your financial information, access to these services won’t be transferred automatically to your new account as part of the Current Account Switch Service.

Do you have a current account with NatWest?

You're all set

You’ll need these bits of info handy for your application:

  • The account number, sort code and debit card number of the bank account you want to switch to us
  • The account number and sort code of your existing NatWest current account

The Current Account Switch Service will move everything across from your old bank account to your NatWest current account within 7 working days.
