Tackling Fraud Together with the NCSC

Fraud can happen to any business, together we can fight it.

The 2023 Cyber Breaches Survey reported that 1 in 3 UK businesses were a victim of a cyber breach in the last 12 months. Most of these were a result of online scams and fraudulent activity. While online security is still perceived as a low priority for many organisations, this session addresses the risks to UK businesses and the actions that can be taken to improve their security posture.

Representatives from the National Cyber Security Centre will speak about the growing online threat to businesses and the resources available from government to build a more digital resilient business. The NCSC is the national technical authority, helping to make the UK the safest place to live and work online. The session will explore:

  • The latest threats facing businesses.
  • The cost and impact of a cyber-attack on an organisation.
  • Why cyber security is not just an IT issue.

Who should I invite?

Criminals are not selective on whom they target within an organisation and therefore we always recommend that all staff would benefit from the content delivered.

We encourage employees whose roles form part of:

  • Bankline and online banking duties
  • Accounting, HR, and Payroll
  • Finance Staff
  • Administrative Staff
  • New employees
