Recommend a friend

As a Private Banking customer, you know how the benefits add up over time. But did you know that you could enjoy something extra special, like a case of fine wine, just for introducing a friend to Private Banking?

If your friend applies for a Private Banking account, meets our Private Banking criteria and is accepted, we would like to show our appreciation by giving you both a reward. Please refer to our terms and conditions to remind you of the qualifying criteria.

You’ll also know your friend will appreciate you introducing them to Private Banking for years to come.

Following the introduction, a Relationship Manager will contact the person recommended. In order for you both to qualify for a reward, your friend must then:

1. Meet one of the Private Banking criteria (have a minimum sole annual income of £75,000 or joint income of £100,000 or savings of £50,000, or be invited to join)
2. Open either an Advantage Private account or a Private Bank Account by 31 December 2009
3. Transfer their main banking relationship including the transfer of Direct Debits, Standing Orders & salary from an existing account with another bank

You and your friend will then receive confirmation that you have qualified for a reward and will be provided with details of how to select and claim your reward. Once you have selected your reward it will normally be delivered within 7 days.

The referrer must be an existing NatWest Private Banking customer and cannot be an employee of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group. The referrer can recommend up to 10 new customers. The offer can be withdrawn at any time without notice. 1 reward will be paid per account, including joint accounts.
