LOVEFiLM is one of Europe’s most popular film subscription services. As a Select Silver customer, you can choose from their great range of movies.
- Select three DVD's to rent each month – we'll send them to you one at a time.
- Delivery straight to your home – and no delivery or return costs to pay plus no late fees ever.
- Choose from over 70,000 DVD, Blu-Ray and TV titles, including new releases and old favourites.
- Includes all genres – action, adventure, comedy, children's and lots more.
- Up to two hours of streaming each month – 1000’s of films and TV shows to your computer, internet enabled TV or PS3.
- Online access is required.
You need to register before you can use this benefit. To register, log in to Membership Services and select LOVEFiLM, then follow the registration process. You'll be asked to enter your credit or debit card details as part of the registration. This won’t be used to collect any payment unless you decide to upgrade your LOVEFiLM service or to cover the cost of any discs that are not returned.
Once you’ve registered, it's easy to order films online. Just log in to Membership Services and select LOVEFiLM. You’ll be asked to enter some security information before you can order films at LOVEFiLM.

Q. How many films can I order at a time?
A. You can create a list of the films you want to see. We’ll send them to you in the order you select. We’ll send you one disc at a time and when you return that disc to us we’ll send the next available one in your list. The maximum number of discs we’ll send you in any calendar month is three
Q. What does 'Unavailable' mean?
A. Occasionally we are unable to offer a film for rental, even after it has been released. There could be a number of reasons for this e.g. supplier problems. We’re really sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this might cause you. Should the situation change, please be assured we’ll update your rental list immediately.
Q. How many rentals will a film or TV series box set include?
A. As each disc in a box set is sent separately, every disc will count as one rental. So a 6 disc set, like '24 - Season 1' will count as 6 rentals.
Q. Ordering Trilogies: Can I arrange to receive a trilogy in order?
A. If a trilogy is shown grouped together on the film detail page, you can receive the discs in order by using the 'Add all' button and checking the box labelled 'Send these discs in series order'.
Unfortunately, most trilogies are not considered to be a series, and are treated as individual movies. This means they will arrive in the order they become available if you add them all to your rentals. For such trilogies we recommend that you only add one title to your rentals at a time, then add the next title once you've watched or received the previous one.
Using Report a Problem with a disc in a series
If you report a problem with a disc in a series, please take the following steps to ensure the remaining discs are sent in the right order:
- Remove the series from your rentals, as the links for sending the discs in order may be broken.
- Re-add the series.
- Remove the discs that you have already viewed.
This will re-set the order for the remaining discs in the series.
Q. I can't find a particular DVD on your service
A. There are several ways you can look for a specific title within our collection of over 70,000 titles: through the search; hotlists; genres; and recommendations. You can also try searching by the director or actors for the title.
But if you have tried these and can't find it, then it may be that we don't yet have it. This could be because:
- It's not yet published on DVD.
- It's not yet available in the UK market.
- It's out of print and no longer available.
Q. What happens if I’m already an existing LOVEFiLM member?
A. That's fine – all you need to do is call us on 0845 601 5219 (Minicom 08456 00 02 12. Calls may be recorded) and we can arrange for your regular monthly payments to be stopped, given that you now have this benefit via your Select Silver Account.
Q. Can I upgrade from the Select Silver Account benefit?
A. Yes, it will just mean that you pay the difference on the upgraded package compared to the £5.99 package offered via your Select Silver Account.
Q. I'm having problems signing up for the benefits on the Membership Services website.
A. You will not be able to register with LOVEFiLM and receive the Select Silver Account LOVEFiLM subscription if you have been previously barred from the LOVEFiLM service for misconduct. Please phone LOVEFiLM on the following number if you're having problems, 0844 482 0183. Lines are open 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
