NatWest Telephone Banking is a quick and easy way to access and manage your accounts over the phone. Access to NatWest Telephone Banking is available any time, day or night. Plus, all NatWest Telephone Banking customers can use their Customer Number to access NatWest Online Banking.

NatWest Telephone Banking is changing

We’re preparing to make some changes to NatWest Telephone Banking based on feedback from our customers. When you call us from April 2013 you’ll hear a new menu that provides faster access to your accounts, more helpful features to manage your money and direct access to a UK-based Customer Advisor. Find out more about the changes we’re making.

Available 24 hours a day - use it whenever you need. NatWest Telephone Banking is free to use, you simply pay the cost of a phone call.

With NatWest Telephone Banking you have access to a range of automated self service options for balances, transactions, payments and general banking enquiries or the option to talk directly with a UK-based Customer Advisor.

Services available via our automated self service option include –

  • the service is free to use - you simply pay the cost of a call
  • you can choose our quick and easy automated service or talk directly to a Customer Service Officer
  • available for current and savings account holders only
  • get real-time balances and up-to-the-minute statements
  • make instant transfers, pay bills and make payments
  • manage standing orders
  • order cheque books, paying-in books and statements
  • order foreign currency
  • get information on our wide range of financial services
  • Automatically receive online banking, our internet banking service.

New menu offering three simple options for all customers

We’re making it easier to get to where you need to each time you call NatWest Telephone Banking. Our new menu will include just three simple options –

  • Option 1 – Self services for NatWest Telephone Banking registered customers to access and manage their accounts.
  • Option 2 – Talk to a UK-based Customer Advisor about your existing loans and overdrafts and account charges.
  • Option 3 – Talk to a UK-based Customer Advisor about new products and services, to register for NatWest Telephone Banking self services or for account enquiries if you are not registered for NatWest Telephone Banking self services.

More self service features to help you access and manage your money

Registered customers will have access to new self service features that provide greater access to manage their accounts.

  • Manage automatic balance announcements
  • Search for transactions on NatWest accounts
  • Make a NatWest credit card bill payment
  • Manage Direct Debits and Standing Orders

Access to a UK-based Customer Advisor

Our new service will continue to provide you with access to a UK-based Customer Advisor. Speak with an Advisor about our entire range of products and services or to register for NatWest Telephone Banking.

Advisors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

NatWest Telephone Banking is free to use, you simply pay the cost of a phone call.

Telephone banking is available to NatWest personal customers aged 11 or over with a current or savings account. System updates may mean that the services are unavailable for short periods in the early hours of the morning.
