About application

It should take between 5 - 10 minutes to complete your Graduate Account application.

Security:

All information submitted during this application is protected by strong security techniques including 128-bit encryption.

Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for a Graduate Account, you must:

  • be over 18 if applying for credit facilities
  • be a UK resident for tax purposes
  • have graduated from a full time higher education course in the UK lasting 2 years or more
  • 1 year for postgraduates) or completed training as a nurse.

The full list of eligible courses is:

  • first undergraduate course
  • Higher National Certificate (HNC)
  • Higher National Diploma (HND)
  • Nursing training course
  • Post-graduate course (MSc, MA, Phd, etc)
  • Equivalent National Vocation Qualification levels 4 or 5 (NVQ's)

Application Process:

Once you have submitted your online application, your chosen branch will invite you to visit in order to sign the application form and provide any supporting documents required. At this stage we can also arrange to transfer an existing account held with another bank, if applicable.
