Helping to keep your identity safe

Identity theft is a big topic at the moment. Luckily we’ve got a solution designed to help.

It kicks in to protect your identity if someone steals your personal details and uses them as part of a fraud.

To begin with, there’s insurance cover of up to £60,000, as well as free credit reports and alerts. We also give you a personal identity theft expert to help clear your name - all for £79.99.

Optional Credit Protection Plus

Card Protection Plus makes things simple if a card you have registered is lost or stolen. Simply make one phone call to cancel the cards and order replacements.

You can register all your credit, store and debit cards, as well as those for up to four other people in your household.

How much does it cost?

Complete protection for just £35 for one year (£85 for 3 years). Interest, where applicable will be charged in line with our terms and conditions.

Still not sure?

You can cancel the cover within 14 days and receive a full refund - just as long as you’ve not made a claim.

What else is covered?

If your cards are lost or stolen overseas, you can apply for a £3,000 emergency cash advance. That’s on top of up to £3,000 towards hotel bills and up to £5,000 to pay for lost tickets and travel documents.

We can even arrange up to £200 to replace the bag, wallet, purse or briefcase your cards were in.

Register your contract mobile phone and if lost or stolen we will cover up to £1,000 unauthorised use for the 12 hours before you report the loss and try to connect you to your Network Provider to lock the phone.

Cover also includes up to £500 towards the cost of replacing locks and keys for your home and car if your keys are lost or stolen.

How do I apply?

It’s easy - just select 'Card Protection Plus' when you apply for your card online. Or you can apply later if you prefer. Advantage Private customers may receive a form of Card protection as part of their package.
