Main exclusions
- Costs at the garage or repairer – if Green Flag cannot fix your vehicle at the roadside you will be liable for the costs of repair

A. The cover is for all vehicles registered in your name at your address.
Q. If we have a joint bank account, are two cars covered?
A. Yes. You’re both covered – for any car registered to you at the address we hold for your account.
Q. Which car is covered? I haven’t provided a vehicle registration number.
A. As long as the car is registered to an account holder at the account address, you’re covered.
Q. Do I have to register my car with Green Flag?
A. No.

Q. Will I receive any documents from Green Flag?
A. No. All the information you need is provided in the booklet we send you.
Q. What is my membership number?
A. You don’t need a membership number. When you call for assistance, Green Flag will know you have an Advantage Gold account.
Q. What details do I have to provide if my car breaks down?
A. You’ll be asked for your name and address, the vehicle details, the fault with the vehicle and your location.
Q. Will Green Flag ask me for my bank details such as account number and sort code?
A. No.
Q. Do I have to show any identification to the mechanic who comes to assist me?
A. No.
Q. How many callouts can I make?
A. Usually, there’s no limit.
However, if Green Flag arranges for temporary roadside repairs, you must carry out any permanent repairs that may be necessary as soon as possible. If you do not, and the same problem happens again, Green Flag may refuse service.
Green Flag may also refuse service if a customer has an unreasonably large number of callouts in a year.
Q. How long will it take for Green Flag to attend my breakdown?
A. Green Flag guarantees to attend your breakdown within an hour. And the average Green Flag callout time is less than 40 minutes.
If Green Flag keeps you waiting longer than an hour, you can claim £10 cashback by writing to Green Flag or completing a service questionnaire.
Q. My family and friends sometimes drive my vehicle. What do they do if the car breaks down?
A. The vehicle is covered for any driver. Anyone driving the car can ring for assistance by calling Green Flag on 0800 068 5910. They will be asked to provide the name and address of the customer with the Advantage Gold account.
