Interest-free overdraft

There's the opportunity to apply for an interest-free overdraft up to £2000. There's £1250 in your first year, £1400 in your second, £1600 in your third, £1800 in your fourth and £2000 in your fifth.

You can use your overdraft for up to five years - and ask to have your limit lowered or raised at any time. There are charges if you go over your agreed overdraft limit.

Your interest-free overdraft facility is only available after your A-level results, provided you are over 18. Simply pop into your local branch on or after 16th August with confirmation of your university place.

Student credit card

A credit limit of up to £500, 56 days interest-free credit and no annual fee makes this credit card a handy little extra in your wallet. You'll also enjoy great discounts on CDs, sports gear, travel guides, gadgets and short breaks. Typical 18.9% APR (variable).
