How many points will I earn for every pound I spend?

You will earn one NatWest YourPoint for every pound you spend on purchases.

When do I start earning points?

If you were registered by the 28th June you will earn points from your June statement date which will be credited to your NatWest YourPoints account on your July statement date.

If you registered after 29th June you will earn NatWest YourPoints on transactions from the day you register. These NatWest YourPoints will be credited to your account every month on your statement date.

You earn points whenever and wherever you use your NatWest card for purchases.

Can I earn points on Balance Transfers and Cash advances?

No, you will earn NatWest YourPoints when you use your card for all purchases. The following transactions will not earn NatWest YourPoints:

(a) cash advances;
(b) balance transfers;
(c) money transfers;
(d) cheques or promotional cheques;
(e) transactions which are treated as advances or cash advances in accordance with the conditions of use of an account, e.g. purchase of foreign currency and travellers' cheques;
(f) interest, fees and other charges; and
(g) other debits which, in accordance with the Bank's standard practice, are not treated as payment for purchases such as the transfer of a debit balance to an Account.

When a refund is made are points deducted?

Yes, when a refund is given, the NatWest YourPoints earned on this will be deducted from your balance.

Can I make up the difference with cash if I don't have enough points to redeem against a booking?

No, only NatWest YourPoints can be used to redeem against flights, hotels, car hire.

How do I view my balance / redeem my points?

From July, you can view your balance at www.natwest.com/yourpoints

As soon as you have built up a balance you can redeem NatWest YourPoints by calling the dedicated customer service number:

Can NatWest YourPoints be used to pay off or reduce my credit card balance?

No, you should continue to pay your credit card in the normal way.

Is there a minimum number of NatWest YourPoints required?

NatWest YourPoints takes advantage of the dynamic pricing that all airlines use. For example booking several months in advance of the date of the trip generally means that you will pay less for the flight; the same applies to NatWest YourPoints.

Are taxes included in my bookings?

Yes, the final points required for any booking includes all taxes and charges - so there will be nothing else to pay.

Will I receive a separate statement in the post for NatWest YourPoints?

No, your monthly balance will be shown on your credit/charge card statement one month in arrears i.e. points earned in August will show on your September statement.

An up-to-date balance will also be available at www.natwest.com/yourpoints from July.

I have more than one NatWest Credit Card, can I earn NatWest YourPoints on all of them?

You can earn NatWest YourPoints on all cards that were registered to earn Airmiles up until June 2007. You can nominate one of your cards that you want membership of NatWest YourPoints to be aligned to. To do this, please call the Natwest Loyalty Service Centre on 0845 0727 629 from July. Once you have done that, you will earn NatWest YourPoints on all purchases across all your NatWest cards, but the NatWest YourPoints balance will be shown on the statement of your nominated account. All of the points are shown against your nominated card and can be used to redeem for flights, hotels and car hire.
