Trojans

A Trojan is a computer virus. This is installed on your computer silently and without you knowing.

Fraudsters will ask you to follow a link from an email to a malicious website or you may visit a bona fide website that's been compromised. Here, fraudsters can use vulnerabilities in your web browser to install a virus or other malicious software.

The emails containing Trojans often seem harmless - a joke, message or gossip. But they often create incredibly security breaches, including the theft of your passwords.
