Phishing
Don't get tricked
Phishing is when fraudsters try to con you into disclosing secret information.
They'll send emails pretending to come from a genuine company and claim you need to 'update' or 'verify' your information using a link to a bogus website. Any information you enter is then used to commit fraud. NatWest or other reputable financial organisations will never ask for your passwords, so ignore any such requests.
It's common for bank customers to be targeted for this type of attack, but other people using the internet are also becoming targets.
