Business Status Alerts is ideal for any organisation that wants to be sure of the credit status of its customers – and be in a position to act if their credit status changes.
Customers who pay late, or never pay, are a liability for any business. And when economic conditions are challenging, the need to avoid bad debt becomes an increasingly important issue.
That’s why we’ve joined forces with Equifax, one of the leading credit reference agencies in the UK, to bring you a service that gives you more information on the credit status of your customers.
With Business Status Alerts you can:
- Obtain credit reports and information on your customers and your potential customers
- Receive an alert if the credit status of one of your customers changes
- Protect your supply chain and your own credit status
It gives you better trading confidence through:
- Access to a substantial database – where you can order reports and alerts on around five million limited and non-limited UK businesses, and four million company directors
- Automatic alerts – emailed to you if the credit status of one of your nominated customers has changed
- Better financial management – your cash flow and profitability will be less affected by poor or non payment and you will be less susceptible to corporate fraud
- Improved credit position – you’ll be able to provide more evidence to lenders on the stability of your debtors’ ledger
Bronze, Silver or Gold
There are three levels of Business Status Alerts service – designed to meet the needs of different businesses.
- Bronze – lets you access credit reports and set up alerts on a pay as you use basis. There is no limit on the number of reports or alerts you can order. There is an annual fee of £25.
- Silver – you can access unlimited credit reports and create alerts for up to 16 businesses. The annual fee is £120, payable monthly.
- Gold - you can access unlimited credit reports and create alerts for up to 30 businesses. The annual fee is £216, payable monthly.
