Security

The PayAway-IP system is protected by a password, smartcard and smartcard reader for each of your authorised users.

This allows you to digitally sign and secure your payment file, so that the file can be validated when it's received by Bacs.

Expert support

Our specialist teams will install PayAway-IP and provide on-site staff training. This is included in the package.

As well as user guides and on-screen help, the Helpdesk is on hand to give you all the support you need to make the most of PayAway-IP. You can call the Helpdesk any time from 09:00 to 21:00, Monday to Friday (except bank and public holidays).

The equipment you will need

Computer:

• Minimum Pentium II® 400 MHz or equivalent
• Recommended Pentium III® 500 MHz or equivalent
• Minimum of 240Mb of free hard disk space
• Minimum of 64Mb RAM (128Mb for Windows 2000 and Windows XP), 128Mb recommended
• 56k modem or faster

Peripherals:

• Standard CD-ROM reader operating at 2x speed or above
• An available serial or USB port (readers for PMCIA Ports available at additional cost)
• A PS/2 keyboard

Operating systems:

• Windows® 2000
• Windows® XP
• Windows Vista

Browsers:

• Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher, with 128 bit cipher strength (encryption)

Other:

• Administrator privileges - required for Windows®
• Each customer cardholder must have an external internet e-mail account
• PayAway-IP can also be installed on a local network. The cost will depend on the number of workstations you require
