Relay

This is a cost-effective international payment service. It allows you to send low-value payments to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and USA.

  • £2000 limit - or currency equivalent
  • Speed - it usually takes five working days for the funds to reach your beneficiary, after they've been debited from your account. However, we can't guarantee these timescales
  • Simplicity - you can only make payments in the currency of the destination country
  • Convenient - arrange payments from your PC, or by visiting your local branch

How to make a payment

To make a payment by Relay, you will need to give us the:

  • name of the beneficiary's bank
  • beneficiary's bank code (if appropriate)
  • beneficiary's branch code
  • beneficiary's bank account number

How much does it cost?

  • Each relay payment costs £10
