This is a cost-effective international payment service. It allows you to send low-value payments to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and USA.

- £2000 limit - or currency equivalent
- Speed - it usually takes five working days for the funds to reach your beneficiary, after they've been debited from your account. However, we can't guarantee these timescales
- Simplicity - you can only make payments in the currency of the destination country
- Convenient - arrange payments from your PC, or by visiting your local branch
How to make a payment
To make a payment by Relay, you will need to give us the:
- name of the beneficiary's bank
- beneficiary's bank code (if appropriate)
- beneficiary's branch code
- beneficiary's bank account number
How much does it cost?
- Each relay payment costs £10
